Thermshield LLC is a supplier of a wide selection of EMI and thermal management products. This cooling product line covers a broad range of thermal management solutions including stampings, board level and custom extruded heat sinks, bonded/folded fin and skived fin heat sinks, heat pipe assemblies, cold plates and other cooling interface materials and attachment devices.

To the best of our knowledge and ability to confirm same all of these products are in full compliance with the new European Union Directive 2002/95/EC, "Restriction of Use of Hazardous Substances (RoHS)," that will go into effect as of July 1, 2006. None of Thermshield LLC thermal management products contain any of the banned substances (Mercury, Cadmium, Lead, Hexavalent Chromium, and poly-brominated biphenyls (PBBs) and poly-brominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) flame retardants), in excess of the directives limits. Thermshield LLC is therefore already in compliance with the RoHS directive and no abatement plans are necessary.

All of these products are in full compliance with the new European Union Directive 2002/96/EC, "Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE)," that will go into effect starting on August 13, 2005. None of Thermshield LLC’s products contain any of the banned substances, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) containing capacitors, mercury containing components, batteries, printed circuit boards, toner, plastic containing brominated flame retardants, asbestos, cathode ray tubes, chlorofluorocarbons (CFC), hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFC), hydrofluorocarbons (HFC), hydrocarbons (HC), gas discharge lamps, liquid crystal displays, external electric cables, components containing refractory ceramic fibers as described in Commission Directive 97/69/EC of 5 December 1997, components containing radioactive substances, electrolyte capacitors containing substances of concern.
